Q: How often do I need to wax my car?

A: If your car is exposed to the elements on a daily basis, you do not have a garage or you do a lot of highway driving, the wax on your car will degrade at a faster rate.  If a paste or liquid wax was used, it will usually last 2-3 months when exposed to mother nature on a daily basis.  If your car is clayed, the wax will bond better to the clear coat and will last 4-5 months.  If you opt for a paint sealant, you will only need to protect your vehicle once/year as sealant typically last for 6-12 months even when exposed to the elements everyday.  If your car is a garage queen, or used infrequently, then a paste wax can last for about 4-6 months and sealants can last for over a year.
